Function of Beauty: "A World Where Brands Don't Exist"

I am a product junkie. I love the possibility of putting something on my hair or face and voila!... having it instantly transformed into effortless beach waves or soft, glowing skin. Ok, in reality, that never happens to me (and by rarely I mean never). But that sure doesn't stop me from trying!

I struggle with my hair a lot. It's frizzy, thin, heat damaged, and very much not shiny. I never really know what to do with it, and the only time it's "styled" is when I give it 3rd degree curling iron burns.

One hair product that I'm really loving at the moment is Function of Beauty, a personalized shampoo and conditioner company created just for you and your hair #goals. It's so simple: you just enter in a few details about your hair type and what kind of outcome you would like, and their scientists do the rest!

Function of Beauty is aiming to change the way people buy beauty products. Rather than a one-size-fits-all deal, or even products tailored to specific functions (i.e. curly hair, oily hair, color treated hair), Function of Beauty's mission is to "create a world where brands don't exist." I'm intrigued.

This is what I chose for my hair formula:

After using the product for a few weeks, I would say that my hair is definitely starting to show improvements. It's a bit softer, and air dries much faster than it previously did. I think I will need a bit more time to test it before I can say for sure, but I'm definitely starting to see some improvements. And for $19 a bottle for 16 oz (or $13 for 8 oz), I would say it is worth it.
